The app uses ADB and lets you remap steering wheel buttons to control car functions like AC or windows, launch apps automatically, use split-screen, and cast apps to the dashboard or move them back to the main screen.
In version 5.1 there was a mini mode (just a small window on the right) of the dashboard that the app supports, allowing you to save custom offsets and resize of the projection while in that mode.
It works well on DiLink 5.1. There’s partial compatibility with DiLink 5, where some features like split-screen or car controls may not work depending on the version. On DiLink 6, BYD locked down several of these features (casting to the dashboard, split-screen).
