Design
The 2026 Sealion 06 DM-i continues to utilise the brand’s signature design language, now complemented by a new “Glazed Silver” exterior colour and “Twilight Blue” interior theme. Inside, the vehicle focuses on passenger comfort with the addition of front-seat memory and massage functions, as well as a leg rest for the front passenger. A new intelligent fragrance system has also been integrated.

Intelligent driving and cockpit
The new model offers an optional “God’s Eye B” advanced driving assistance system (DiPilot 300). This system provides full-scenario capabilities, including City Navigate on Autopilot (CNOA), High-speed Navigate on Autopilot (HNOA), traffic light recognition with real-time countdowns, adaptive traffic maneuvering, and roundabout navigation. Complementing this is the high-end DiLink 150 smart cockpit, featuring a redesigned UI and a customised version of AutoNavi Maps for a human-machine interaction experience.
Powertrain and performance
Powered by the fifth-generation DM technology, the vehicle achieves a maximum CLTC pure electric range of 310 km. It boasts an NEDC fuel consumption rate of 3.3L per 100km when in a low-battery state, and offers a combined range of 1,845 km on a full tank and full charge.
Chassis and safety
The 2026 Sealion 06 DM-i is equipped with the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system, now featuring a road surface pre-scanning function. This system can proactively identify road irregularities such as manhole covers and speed bumps, adjusting the suspension damping coefficient in real-time. Furthermore, the vehicle introduces a “motion sickness prevention mode,” which optimises the chassis, environmental settings, and powertrain to enhance passenger comfort. For safety, the model includes a high-speed tyre blowout stabilisation system, capable of millisecond-level responses to maintain control during a blowout at speeds up to 140 km/h.

BYD Sealion 06 domestic sales reached 19,649 units in April 2026, up 7.7% from March. Monthly deliveries stood at 18,237 units in March, 6,287 in February, and 6,640 in January.
